Tim Pierce

Tim Pierce, born 1958, grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and fell in love with the music he heard on the radio in the 60s, diving into the credits on vinyl records later. In the 80s and 90s he was managed to play with all the guys from those credits, like Jeff Porcaro and Steve Lukather. Today, Tim is one of the most featured session guitarists of all time and played on many records you know and love – by Bon Jovi, Rick Springfield, Michael Jackson, Phil Collins to name a few. He was named as one of the "Top 10 Session Guitarists" by Guitar World Magazine.

Versatile & creative

Tim is able to come up with many different guitar parts and sounds quickly, as he was working with many different song writers, too. His superior harmonic knowledge leads to versatile and creative guitar parts that always support the song and can be used instantly. His pickings often feature melodic elements and counter movements, played with a fantastic intonation. He got into filmed content to teach other guitar players and has an educational online membership business for guitarists called the “Masterclass”.
