Paul's playing seamlessly blends jazz tradition with modern, groove‑oriented fusion. His style is deeply rhythmic and melodic: grounded in acoustic double bass techniques but open to electronic textures and subtle electronic influences – especially in his work with Jazzanova and on "Little Home". His bass lines are known for their harmonic sophistication, fluidity and expressive depth, often driving a band's groove while remaining sensitive to atmosphere and texture. Improvisational yet structured, his style emphasizes spontaneity, ensemble interaction and emotional resonance whether in intimate acoustic settings or electrified grooves.
