Corey Britz, born 1979 in rural Virginia, started playing bass in a high school band. He loves all kinds of music, but the energy of rock is what he really enjoys: uptempo, playing hard, playing loud. He's the bassist for Bush, but has also worked with Eagles of Death Metal, The Calling, Puddle of Mudd and Pink.
Corey has a minimalistic approach: "Play as few notes as possible, lock it down with the drummer, then find moments to color it up. Concentrate on making the song groove, making sure to not taking away from what's going on." He's fantastic with a pick, has great technique and is your man especially when it comes to 90s rock with a fat bass sound, but also shines in pop and alternative. Apart from being a great bass player, he is also an experienced producer, mixing and mastering engineer.
