Dwayne Moore, originally a cornerstone of the Philly scene, is a versatile American bassist most prominently known for his work with Beck's live band. He earned that high‑profile role after performing with Pharrell Williams, which led Beck to invite Dwayne to join him in Los Angeles. Since then, Moore has toured internationally with Beck, contributing a firm, tasteful groove to his songs. He's also played/toured with Seal, Keysha Cole, Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, Eminem, Lauryn Hill and many more.

Dwayne, whose Dad also played bass, comes from a church background and his playing is rooted in deep-feel, song-oriented groove. He gravitates toward vintage basses – most notably 1970s Fender Precision models – alongside a Warwick Corvette bass, switching instruments mid-session to match the character of each track. He prioritizes a big tone as well as pocket over flashy technique and always sounds modern and fresh. Dwayne likes gospel and rock with a drive: "not too clean and nice".
