Rob Harris is a highly accomplished English guitarist and songwriter. When "he was four years old, he used a tennis racket as guitar", but switched to a real guitar when he was seven. He grew up listening to soul, funk and disco, played later on and co-wrote the Jamiroquai albums "A Funk Odyssey", "Dynamite", "Rock Dust Light Star" and "Automaton", but also recorded and toured with renowned artists like Gary Numan, Mark Owen and Kylie Minogue, showcasing his versatile musical prowess.

Funky & jazzy

Rob loves playing rhythm parts on acoustic or electric guitar, finding motives that sit in songs and fit in with the drums, the bass and the keys as well as textures that work with the other instrumentation. He has excellent timing and is always funky and jazzy in a way. He teaches and has many solo projects, for example together with Jamiroquai's bass player Paul Turner who also recorded material for the Tonalic Library.
