Larry Paxton

Larry Paxton is a renowned American bassist, arranger and producer known for his extensive work in Nashville's music scene. He grew up in Ohio, played a lot of dixieland music with his dad, who was a band director and quickly became a first-call session musician. Over the decades, he has worked with some of the biggest names in country, pop and gospel music. In addition to his session work, he plays the bass at the "Grand Ole Opry" and is a skilled orchestrator and conductor, contributing to numerous film scores and TV specials.
